Manila, Philippines – SPOTLIGHT, the choreography showcase formerly known as Peep Show, returns for its third edition on July 12, 2025, at Teatrino Greenhills. Gates open at 6:00 PM, with the show starting at 7:00 PM.

Organized by UPeepz, a world-renowned Filipino dance crew and three-time Megacrew World Hip Hop Dance Champion, SPOTLIGHT continues its mission to provide a space for choreographers to present original work in a focused setting. The event has grown into a recognized platform for both emerging and established choreographers to explore new ideas, refine their style, and share movement outside of commercial or competitive formats.

This year’s lineup features a mix of UPeepz members and guest choreographers from across the Philippine dance community. Each performance is a unique piece of work, allowing artists to approach choreography as a personal form of expression, free from prescribed styles or themes.

Spotlight mainstays Jobert Lachica, Chips Beltran, Ferdz Lopez, The Iconic House of Mizrahi, And Friends, and Carlos Serrano III will again perform this year together with new acts such as Gab Campos, Tatai, Pinay Buck, Rasheed Magabo and Chris Vino. There will also be special performances from drag queen Budalyn, and will be opened by recording artist Jarlo Base.

SPOTLIGHT 2025 also serves as a fundraising event to support UPeepz’s five qualified teams competing at the upcoming World Hip Hop Dance Championship (WHHDC) this July in Arizona. Representing the Philippines are:  VPeepz (Junior-Varsity Megacrew), Lil Peepz (Junior Division), The Peepz (MiniCrew), and VPeepz and VPz  (Varsity Division). Proceeds from the event will help cover travel, lodging, and competition expenses as the team once again brings Filipino talent to the world stage.
