Thought you’d seen the last of me? Wait till you see our grand finale! UNITE 2023, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s Fest, is finally reclaiming the physical stage this year for the first time since the pandemic started.
UNITE is a festive event organized by the Student Trainers (STRAINS) to welcome back the Benildean community with a celebration where students, faculty, and everyone from Benilde get to have a rocking experience as we promote camaraderie and new beginnings.
Making a triumphant return, UNITE 2023 themed “Rocketman,” is coming at you with a blast to the stars! From owning the dance floor to feeling like a rock star, get ready for an out-of-this-world experience as we create a memorable night .
To keep you on your toes... We heard that UNITE’s comeback comes with not just one, but two special events which are: The Battle of the Bands that happened last March 31, 2023 and the awaited main event, the Festival Day, that will happen this May 12, 2023! The Battle of the Bands was graced with Benilde’s homegrown performers: Pauline Cueto who started the show with a bang, while four bands fought for the UNITE Spotlight: Raelight, Full House, WhoWhatWhere!, and Joao flaunted their rock and roll rhythm up in the air! To save the best for last, the show ended with a performance from Ice G that gave the audience a musical blast!
The champion band: JOAO is the chosen one to conquer the stage for the ever-awaited Festival day! Thus, it is indeed a day to celebrate as the College’s Student Involvement Day—the recruitment for student organization members—will also happen before the night of dance, music, and fun.
You wouldn’t want to miss out on the face-to-face festivities and the chance to sing along as UNITE 2023 will feature top and talented artists from the local entertainment and music scene and, of course, its very own extraordinary homegrown artists. Enjoy show-stopping performances from the College’s best of the best talents: Saint Benilde Romancon Dance Company (SBRDC) Hip-hop, Why July, Joao, Poblaxion, Gandares, Of Mercury, and One Click Straight, as they flaunt on the beat dance moves at UNITE 2023’s physical stage! Keep your eyes open as more performers will be revealed soon.
